“To Make Disciples”

Our Mission

Church of God in Ontario LifeBuilders is a discipleship program designed to help men deal with issues that hinder their relationship with Jesus Christ and other fellowmen by exposing and destroying the strongholds and exploits of the devil. The goal is that LifeBuilders men will ultimately discover how to follow Christ wholeheartedly, connect with believers strategically, and become the men of God they were created to be.

As such, LifeBuilders are men of good character who manage their home, resources, and relationships with utmost integrity, thereby becoming the light and salt of the earth.

Presently, we have two annual regional events, our LifeBuilders Conference and Resurrection Breakfast. Our desire is to partner with the local churches in order to effectively disciple our men in the region.

Over the past four years, the Church of God in Ontario LifeBuilders has teamed up with the Church of God of Prophecy in a joint annual Men’s Discipleship Conference. This partnership has been very successful and we believe God for bigger and better things to come.

In 2014, the LifeBuilders Leadership Certification Program was launched. The purpose of this certification is to train all our men’s discipleship presidents and directors so that they are more effective in their respective role. These leaders will then go back and train the men in their local churches. There were over 45 leaders that were certified in March of 2015.

Our Mission is:

“To Make Disciples”
To equip and resource the body of Christ (local church) to do the work of ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-12)
The Division of Discipleship exists to fulfill the mandate of scripture. (Ephesians 4:12, 16)

Our mission is accomplished in the following manner:

  • To Equip, preparing for service (Mark 1:17-19)
  • To Resource, supplying ministry concepts and materials (II Timothy 3:17)
  • To Work, making disciples (Matthew 28:19-20)
